In the beginning of the last century; a young scholar, erudite writer and educationalist-Professor Sohrab Davar, had a dream of providing an exceptionally strong foundation of education dedicated solely to the commerce industry. He was brilliant in his foresight to realize the importance of trade and commerce & the technical knowledge required to put that extra edge to personal business acumen. Thus was laid the foundation stone of "DAVAR'S COLLEGE"; an educational Institute that today flaunts a century of glorified history, with many a present luminaries as its past students.

The Late Dr. Nani S. Davar - Ph.D.,. S.M. (MIT USA) F.C.A.. F.I.C.S. (Lon.), Former Principal, is a respected name for devising various career oriented courses, which have led students to highly successful careers in blue chip companies, for more than 50 years.

Following in his father's footsteps, Dr. Nani S. Davar had the guts to be different and thus landed up being amongst the first to introduce the Secretarial Training Course. Ably assisted by his wife Mrs. Puran N. Davar, he has played a pioneering role in furthering vocational courses and practices in India thus grooming thousands to assist top management in several large companies.
